  1. I had i guinea pig  once and  we never washed him????????

  2. they need to be washed once a year

  3. They shouldn't be washed often. Maybe once or twice a year, unless something happens where they get really dirty. They have sensitive systems, so baths aren't all that good for them. When you do, make sure not to get anything on their heads and that the water is not too hot or cold and that they have a warm place to stay until they're dry.

  4. Ask a vet I wouldn't bathe it to often They get pneumonia.

  5. Guinea pigs do an excellent job of keeping themselves clean. They should only be bathed if they are visibly dirty or smelly. For example, if a pig decides to sleep in his pee spot for a while, you may bathe him to get the urine off his fur. Long haired pigs may need to be bathed more often, but still as little as posssible. Otherwise, you don't need to bathe him. It's not really good for his skin and causes him unneeded stress.
