How often do you clean the outside of your toilet?

Question

I can't stand the dust and hair, other yucky stuff that builds up on the bottom of the toilet where the bolts are. I usually clean there once a week when I scrub the bowl. I know this is a silly question, I'm just checking to see if I'm obsessive about cleanliness.

Once a week should be sufficient unless you have some gross man that is messy.  Your environment could cause dust.  I have very little of it, but don't have a lot of dust in our area.  As for obsessive, no...if you were doing it daily than it might be considered obsessive.  Happy cleaning!

Happens to me all the time i can't stand it either.I've got a German Shepard and my sons girlfriend has super long hair come to think of it my hair is long also. the dust and hair that collect are normal as you see everybody hates it. I do also hate and and find my self cleaning it when i clean the whole bathroom once a week.Yuck is right. so your not alone on that one.

Once or twice a week--each time I do a thorough cleaning of the bathroom.

Well, I clean it really good once a week, with clorox disenfecting bathroom cleaner(lots of it), paper towels, and a scrub brush.

But throughout the week I do a quick wipe down with an all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle and a paper towel or with clorox disenfecting bathroom cleaner and a paper towel for about 20 seconds

I'm with you, and "yucky" sums it up but I, like you, do a weekly wipe-down there, too.  I want a housekeeper!!

TWICE A WEEK CAUSE I GOT BOYS IN THE HOUSE AND THEY ALWAYS p**s ON THE RUG AND DOWN THE FRONT OF THE BOWL, SO WHEN I USE THE TOILET IT SMELL LIKE p**s,I WISH THEY'D SIT AND PEE,,NO U R NOT OBSESSED JUST CLEAN.AND IT'S NEEDED IN A BATHROOM
