How often do you eat out at restaurants instead of at home?

When I was a kid, I was lucky to get McDonalds once a month whereas now I take it for granted and eat out at least once a day as do a lot of other people. Has society changed that much in the last 15 years?

Back when I had my old job and was still employed, if I worked a 5 day work week, I would actually eat at a restaurant 4 of those 5 days with the other day going to a gas station and getting a hot dog or something.

Yeah, it's a bit much, but what can you do if you can't cook or are feeling too lazy too cook that night.

it used to be a big money saver to eat at home but now it costs the same as eating out. i usually eat out for lunch during the workweek and maybe once or twice a week depending on my level of laziness.

my family used to go out to eat like 3 times a week but now we go out like once every two weeks!

We eat out about 2 -3 times a week during the summer.  Majority of the the family neighbors eat out around 3-4 times a week during school days due to kids activities and parents hectic schedules.  Although the number of times per week has not reasonably decreased, due to the gas prices this summer, families are still eating out.  However, they are eating out closer to home rather than driving to the corners of the city.

I mostly eat food at home but at least twice a month or once a week I can eat Mcdonald`s or Wendy`s! I think now that the food out is unhealthy people don`t appreciate as much as they used to since now their figure has to be maintained to an appropiate level.

I usually eat out AT LEAST 5 times a week!! I know, its horrible, but my boyfriend just loves to!! hehe
