  1. Well it depends really on the size of your agency. If you join a smaller one you will be more likely to be picked. It also depends if there are a lot of people in your agency that look like you. Not only are you competing against the people at the audition but you are competing against the other people in the agency.

sorry to say there is no real way t o tell

  2. It depends on a few things. If actors who are your type (aka a girl next door, a s**y O.C type or a corky molly ringwald type) if the people who are your type are being seen then you need to check in with your agency. Just make sure that they had enough current headshots, an updated resume. You don't want the issue to be a problem on your end. And take a good workshop every once in a while (dont take them all the time. Its too much money and your time is better spent doing plays and indie films) You want to make sure that you and your agency are on good terms.  That means you should go out at least once a week or twice a month when its slow. Also we are headed for a SAG strike so its going to be even slower. Hang in there. If after a few months, and the strike is over and you don't feel like your agents are working for you don't be afraid to move on, AFTER you have signed with a new agent. Best of luck: )

  3. As often as there is a role being cast that your agent thinks you might be right for.
