How often do you hang out with your boyfriend/girlfriend?

my boyfriend and i have been dating for two years.

he graduated last year and is looking for a job until he starts college next year.

i currently have a job and am going back to school in a few weeks.

lately i've been wanting to hang out with him a few days a week just because i won't get to see him much soon, but i'm lucky if he wants to see me once every two weeks. he hangs out with his friends several times a week but when we're supposed to have plans, he cancels and says he wants that day to himself. is this just a phase?

during the summer, I see my boyfriend only about once a month, but during the school year at college, we see eachother just about every day. It sounds like he's not all that into you. I know that you don't have to see eachother every day, but it sounds like you're on the back burner. If you're not seeing him nearly as much as you want, I would suggest finding a boyfriend who wants to see you more often.

The only reason it may be a phase is if he is really struggling with something like depression...or if he's working a lot or something like that. Still, it seems like he should want to see you at least a couple times / week.

I'd say he's either found someone else or his friends are just more interesting than you.  Why else wouldn't he wants to hang out with you when he gets the chance?

Um im not sure if he still wants to be with you.  Me and my boyfriend see each other every day.  If you arent seeing each other at least 5 times a week then something is probably wrong.  He should want to see you all the time, as much as you want to see him.

hmm. thats is weird youve been dating for two years thats a long time then he should want to hang out with you more. you should talk to him about it. if he gets tense then something is probably going on. you might want to keep and eye "spy" on him. good luck. i hope things work out

Think about what he is doing.  He could be putting distance between you now to make it easier to leave and be at school without you.  Saying good-bye to someone that you care about even for a short period of time is hard.  Just give him some space and make sure he knows how you feel.

i was in a long distance relationship with my recent ex and i didn't get to see him until the weekend as he worked, i was at college and it was too much going over there, spending hours traveling to get an hour with him and then to come back; some weekends, like your boyfriend, he was with his friends, he would cancel for me but his mates would be horrible towards me tho for 'making' him cancel, so i used to let him get on with it, which annoyed him cos he wanted to see me but i felt bad on his friends :( but the times i seen him, we made the most of it and it was better, cos the kisses, cuddles, i treasured every second cos i had been waiting so long for them :) speak to your boyfriend, say you miss him and YOU deserve time with him :) but believe me, you don't see him for a while, you'll treasure the moment when you do so much more! :) keep smiling sweetie.
