s*x on your period can be great!  I'm very sensitive during that time so everything feels better.  Of course we don't do oral but I rub myself along his shaft and have the most amazing orgasms ever.  Penetration is even more pleasurable during this time.  Everything just feels better.

It's really no more messy than s*x normally is.  What little blood there is just gets mixed up in all that ejaculate.  It's not like you're bleeding a steady stream down there.  

Now, I didn't do it ever with boyfriends.  I didn't do it till I was with my husband.  My periods are fairly short, 3-5 days so we usually only do it a couple of times during each period. He's never minded at all that I was on my period.  He just likes that I'm so sensitive during that time.  

Edited to add - don't leave the tampon in!!  There's no reason to leave it in and it could cause problems.

I have never had s*x while I have been on my period and don't ever plan to. That's just my personal preference.  Each women is different.

i always get soooo horny during my period.  if the guy is cool with it, i am.  Tampons keep it clean anyway.  I prefer to use an ob brand tampon because they seem to have longer strings and don't get lost nearly as easy!
