How often do you have to pay rent?

i was looking at future condos (these are just ideas) for my friend and myself, and i have no idea about this kind of stuff.

on the site it says rent range, but how often do you pay rent?

like once a month?

You normally pay rent or mortgage monthly.

in most cases, you pay your rent once a month, and you pay for the entire month before it starts.  rarely do you have to pay one year in advance.  a rent range is a range... for example from $800 to $1,000 per month.

most are month to month but some make you sign a lease for like a year than after that you go to month to month but yea you still pay rent monthly.
