How often do you need to clip parrotlets wings?

after the baby is fully weaned and the feathers are clipped how long until you should trim them again?

I clip my macaws wings once a year in the spring, so I can take her outside. During the cold months she's indoors so there is no need to clip

You clip them when their flight feathers come in.

It usually takes about 6 months for the wings to grow back...give or take. Your baby is probably around 2 or 3 months old if it is fully weaned. Lots of parrotlets will go through a first molt between 5 and 8 months so keep and eye on the flight feathers for new ones coming in. After that it should be around every six months.
