How often do you shave your armpits?

Because I'm wondering if I should start shaving mine? Since I started my period, and more hair is growing in my armpits so should I start shaving there?

If there's hair, I'd suggest you start shaving them. Just be careful, it's an easy place to cut.

I used to have to shave mine everyday, and there would still be a dark shadow so they never looked smooth. I started waxing a while ago, and it was super painful the first time, but not anymore. It comes out much smoother. I do that about once a week.

If i were you i would not start shaving unless they are noticable from far away as when you start shaving they grow back thicker and prickly :}

I'm a redhead, but my hair on my legs and arm pits is more of a blonde color. Since it's such a light color, I don't have to shave them every other day like my legs, so I'd say about twice a week, maybe even once a week.

And yes, if you have noticeable hair on your armpits.. I would shave them.

Once every couple of weeks - I shave mine because the hair traps the smell more than because hair is "gross" and I'm not very arm-fuzzy, so I just do it once the hair is longer than 1 or 2 cms. Some of my friends have hair that long under their arms every few days though, so it varies from person to person.

Don't shave, it has chemicals in it and might cause brown spots and redness, even if u have no allergy. trust me, my moms a doctor and she knows this stuff.

Try waxing it, its just 4 pulls or less it will hurt for 2 minutes thats it.

Do it whenever it starts showing again.

I shave every morning when I shower. I'm Italian and really hairy so not shaving isn't an option for me. *LOL*

If your underarm hair bothers you, then shave them :)  Be sure to use a fresh razor and shaving cream/foam or lather your underarms really well with soap.
