How often do you start a conversation with a random person you don't know??????????

In a public place like the mall, grocery store, etc.etc.etc.

I am  sorry! I do it all the time, when I do my grocery shopping.

  "Hi! How are you doing? If I gotta the answer back, it is easy to starting my conversation. It is funny, some time you met a good person in other time some crappy person too.  But, always you say some thing good..like that!

I talk to the other people in line at the grocery stores and in elevators, especially if it's a one on one.  It's harder to do in a crowded elevator, then I just freak everyone out by facing the back instead of the front.

I just love talking with people.  

That is one of the things I love about my job.  I am a cashier & spend all day talking with strangers.  I particularly love talking with the kids as the parents check out.

And I am no different as a customer.

i find people who like to talk a lot seem to find me.Talked for half and hour this morning to one of the folks in the flats (or shold i say-he "talked" for half an hour!).

I would like to except I don't live in a friendly city. People don't respond most of the time, so I don't start random conversations anymore. Sad but true.
