How often do you talk to your boyfriend/girlfriend?

Is it normal to only talk to your boyfriend on the phone once a day or every other day?

I talk to my boy friend on the phone every night before I go to bed (unless we just saw each other that night, then we don't bother). It is very normal to only talk once a day... but a text every once in a while throughout the day is nice too :)

well, the amount of time you spend with ur bf, either talking on the phone or face to face, really depends on what kind of relationship you are having.  for instance, i once had a bf who i was with for 2 years and, believe it or not, we only talked or saw each other 2 to 3 times a week. i will admit though that we were quite young at the time...around16,17 yrs.

anyways, now i am in love with the most wonderful guy. i am 19 and he is 22 and we go to college in two different cities. we talk on the net every day and he sends me phone messages or calls me. he is the "committed" type of guy.(these guys generally do not have one night stands or other relationships if they don't see a future in it...by this i don't mean marriage)

so, and u'll please excuse me for the excessively loooooong reply :D, there are some guys who can;t seem to even breathe without thinking of you and others who may not call u every single second, but that really care about u a lot.

i think u should find what is best for ur relationship. more than a couple of times a day would generally pass as suffocating and less than 3 times a week would be a "hm....what can i do on saturday? ah yes, i forgot i had a gf".

i'd say that u have quite a healthy ratio...

me? i can't sleep or eat if i don't know how my man is doing...every day :D
