  1. I have a ferret.  I clean the litter box every day or every other day.  I wash all the fabric stuff, disinfect the  cage and litter box, clean the water bottle and food dish every week.

  2. i wash my 2 german shepherds and a rottweiler  and cats bowls out everyday and there kennels get washed every 2-3 days

  3. I wash my two german shepherds food bowls EVERY day immediately

they have finished their meal. I shake out their bedding outside about 3 times a week and wash it or change it once a month. I put down a lot of blankets on the kitchen floor when they come in to sleep in there at night and I wash these about once every 2 weeks and shake them outside every day or hairs get everywhere. Do all this a bit more often in the winter as the bedding gets  a lot dirtier quicker.

  4. Cats. I wash the tinned food bowl after every feed, the dried food bowl every week (or two or three now I think about it - oh dear!). Bedding - hardly ever as it seems to annoy them but I vaccuum it now and again. Water - every day.

  5. I can his water dish daily to avoid it being slimy and getting calcium build up. his food dish prolly every two or three days. he only eats dry food... so he does not get nasty build up. it is mainly like the moisture in the dry on the bowl. he is a 3 year old chihuaua! his bedding just got washed. I think he was sick on it, so i cleaned it. prolly once a month i wash it.

Now my snake... he only has a water dish... and i wash his every other day when i change his water. His bedding gets cleaned when he uses the bathroom. I mix it all the to make sure it is fluffy and clean.

  6. I have two rabbits, I clean out their hunch and bowls every five days.

  7. I have two Dwarf Hamsters and i clean their whole cage once a week; every time I feed them or change their water i give the bowls and water bottle a rinse (bout every two days).

  8. Food/water bowls -- I generally don't wash them out.  Whenever I see it empty I just fill them.  Occasionally I'll give it a quick rinse, but my feeling is it's just dry food, it doesn't really get dirty.  And well I don't think water really gets dirty.  I used to have to wash it out like everyday cuz I made the mistake of using the double bowl for food/water, and he never finished chewing his food and get food bits all in the water, iccccck!!!!!  But I have since kept his food/water a few feet away from each other to force him to finish chewing, and it worked!!!!

Litterbox -- we got the automatic one so i don't really have to clean it much.  Every few days I'll empty the thing that catches everything.  Generally it hides the smell really well so it's not needed  more than that.  And about once a week, i'll add some fresh litter, and clean the rake and stuff.

Bedding -- he uses my bed, so whenever I wash my bedding.  I admittingly do not do it weekly like recommended though, maybe every 2-3 weeks....

  9. 2   Ferrets,    I wash soft food bowls after every meal, dried food bowl every 3 to 4 days , water crock every day, litter tray gets scooped twice a day,and wiped with Kitchen roll, and washed thoroughly once a week. newspaper on bottom as needed, hammock, shelf cover and bed every 2 to 3 days   cage washed out once a week...........6   Rats   soft food plates after every meal, dried food bowl once a week, litter trays, fabric bedding, plastic beds , shelf covers, water drinkers, get changed every 2 days  full cage washout once a week, I have 2 of everything, so I just take dirty out put clean in and wash it all later.............

  10. I wash and disinfect my rabbit and gerbils' food bowls every week when I change their bedding (:

  11. I wash my rabbit's and hamster's food bowls, out every week - when I clean them out:).

  12. My dog deserves a clean eating bowl as much as I deserve a clean plate, so I wash his bowl every day after washing the dishes in the sink.

My dog sleeps on a memory foam pad, which has a cotton cover. I wash his cover at least once a week.

  13. I have 2 dogs and I put their bowls in the dishwasher once a week.  I wash their bedding almost daily, as they do enjoy their dirty protests at clean linen.
