How often does it hail in Bay Area?

I live in Northern CA (San Jose). It does hail every once in a while, but I forget how ofetn. How often does it hail in San Jose, CA or in the Bay Area?

Not too frequently.  Even thunderstorms are not very common, even in the rainy season.   The weather bureau has thunderstorm incidence data and perhaps hail data.

well the last time it hailed here was around the time we had that huge storm during the first few days of january. i would say maybe like 1 or 2 times a year.
