How often does it rain in Europe?

Question

I'm writing a story and I want it to take place in Europe

But, I need it to take place somewhere where it rains.. A lot!

The rainfall is one of the biggest parts of the story and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this

And if Europe doesn't get my desired amount of rainfall or you just don't know

Doesn't anyone know a place that's kind of cold most of the year and gets quit a bit of rainfall?

Like, maybe rains every day or every other day?

in the uk. most of europe is hot all summer in the uk you might get a few good weeks in the summer but in the uk it rains most of the year .

Europe is a big place. Southern Italy is pretty dry; Holland is pretty wet.

i have heard that in the uk(united kingdom) it rains almost all the time and its quite nippy too. cool enough to put on a light sweeter.
