  1. where in Italy?

    Today it'is raining

  2. Like so many places in the world, the rain levels in Italy depend entirely on which area you are asking about.  It will rain a great deal less in the southern regions like Calabria than it will in northern cities like Milan or Venice.

Overall, however, Italy has a fairly mild climate, and despite the fact that it is a peninsula, its general humidity levels not as high as one might think.

Statistically,  rainiest month in Italy is November, while the driest is July.

To get a good overall idea, there is a rainfall chart on my website for the province of Viterbo.  This is a good place to get a fair idea, since it is right in central Italy between Rome and Florence.  The page is here:

Keep in mind, however, that you should not use that chart to guage weather in the extreme north or south.

  3. it rains a lot in autumn, many times during the week..

anyway it rains also in the other seasons, for example this night it rained a lot and we are in spring ;)

  4. I am italian from Turin...

well, now it has been raining since 1 week, but normally it doesn't rain so much during the year...

In  milan there are about 70-80 days of rain per year, but i think there are even less... We say that may is the month in which it rains more than all the other months, but during the whole year there is an average of 1 week -10 days of rain during autumn, 5-7 days during winter and i think about 2-3 duting summer, or even less...

    ciao

  5. it depends on what part of italy and what season..

  6. depend on what part you are talking about.... I live in the northern part and it rains in the spring more than any other season :)

  7. Every other day, since the beginning of April. At least where I live

  8. Today, it's sunny (i live in Milan)... Look here http://www.ilmeteo.it/ for more info...
