  1. Each sailor earns thirty days of leave per year; but they might not be able to take that much leave each year.  In six years of active duty, I was able to take thirty days of leave twice, taking two weeks twice in those years; but they did pay me for the leave that I had built up.

  2. Active duty military generally get 30 days leave per year.

  3. if not on float, every night

  4. The Navy while in port works on average monday thru friday from approx 0700 to 1600. They also work duty days. When they are off at the end of the day they go home. They report back the next work day.The military earns 2.5 days of leave per month. Usually leave is taken in a minimum of 3 day increments and it's rare to go over 30 days consectively. (That length of time is usually taken while transferring duty stations). You can hold a max of 60 days per year on the books before you start to lose it. *(There are some exceptions when this number is raised - due to being in a combat zone, etc) When requesting leave you state where your travel plans take you. Leave is a right however it must be approved by your chain and must not affect the unit's mission. It's your option to go whereever you want to go during leave as long as your command has your recall information and you have had the necessary briefings if you are leaving the country. You must maintain good military bearing while on leave and you must respect all local laws.

  5. Active duty earn about 30 days of leave a year.  However, the truth is they almost never get to use them all.  Depending on how close to home you are stationed, I would figure on being able to visit 2x a year at best.  Leave is determined by things like unit size, mission and myriad other things, so getting large blocks of time does not happen often.  If you get stationed overseas, I would figure on going home only once a year, if that.

  6. once each year, he can go home for a month.

  7. in the navy u can take 1 month off a year

but if you dont want to take the month off you can take it  next year and have 2 months off check out this web site it really helps!!! alot
