How often does vandalism on cars happen?

It used to sit on the driveway. The car was legal (current plates/inspection) and looked fine (decent paint, no rust anywhere). It was "wrapped" once with toilet paper. A few days later it got egged all over. The car got washed and stored in the garage after that.

Shot at with .22 caliber pellet gun. They missed and hit the garage door instead. ..but I think whoever it was might have been targeting me. Keyed 3 or 4 times.

So far so good...nothing yet.

In 30 years, I have owned 11 vehicles including a scooter. The following evil has happened:

1 truck bed tonneau cover stolen.

1 truck bed tonneau cover slashed with a knife.

1 truck broken in to twice.

1 tank of gas siphoned.

1 car keyed in a parking lot.

The only things I would consider vandalism are the slashed tonneau cover and the keyed paint. The rest are burglary. The reality is that I see many vehicles that have been keyed. My opinion is that I am surprised that vehicles don't get vandalized more often, because of the shocking number of other kinds of vandalism that happen, such as tagging. I think it depends on where you keep your vehicle. I think that two instances of vandalism against my vehicles over a 30 year period is not very often.

it happens every 30 seconds there is a car being stolen are broken into are damaged and that has been proven by law inforcement  and  it has been proven that there is no way to every stop a theif if the theif wants that vehicale he or she will find a way to get the vehicale and it doesnt matter what you do to try to stop them the point is it will happen if you are someone doesnt put them away in jail and make a ezample of them and make them see haaaa we aint going to stand for this at all and thats the way it is in life  thank you.,......
