How often does water get into cold air intakes?

i need to know because i dont know whether to get a cold air intake or a short ram intake for my 07 cobalt ss

the filter itself picks up water whenever you drive over a puddle of water and the air will push it into the engine.

but you can get a valve to solve the problem.

Short Ram will improve your gas mileage. CAI will improve your performance.

a lot of it depends on where they put the intake but it should not happen to often. I don't know about the 2.0 ecotec but I have the ss with the 2.4 in it (and yes they had an ss with the 2.4 ecotec in it) and last time I check the k&n had the best boost in power and it looked like they put it in a safe spot.
