How often is average to change a pad...period...help?

I got my period for the first time, and i'm just wondering how often i should change my pad...and how many times the average person changes it a day...thanks.

I CHANGE MINE LIKE  3 TIMES A DAY CUZ IT BE HEAVY BUT IF IT LITE CHANGE LIKE 2 TIMES

every three to four hours because if you dont then you can end up getting infections and problems and you start to stink too and thats not very nice at all but make sure every time you do you clean your self up before puttin on a new one

im not sure how many times a person changes it a day, but most people change it every 2 to 3 hours, 4 at most.  you just dont want the pad to leak through your underwear to your clothes, that's embarrising.

Its usually 4 to 6 hours but I leave mine in all night when I am asleep. I would change it every 4 hours all depending on the flow. If you are heavy it could need changing every 2 hours but a normal flow is usually every 4 hours.

I change mine from 2 to 8 hours. But every girl/women are different. So just check every now and then. Hope I help!
