  1. Everyday...Just seems that there is not that many caring people anymore.  Just care about themselves. I saw this lady fall and no one helped her.  I was the only one to walk over and help her up.

    Love honey

  2. I think I more surprise people with my behavior..I can be a little out there..

  3. All the time.

People mature and ripen and then spoil in life and wither so that they no longer seem the strong vibrant light they once were when they were at their peak of performance. Each day is a mystery that tells us if a person is on the way up or on the way down and the surprise is how fats that rise and fall happens.

  4. I think it's the bad things that surprise me, here is an example:

I got an email yesterday calling me everything under the sun because of my answer to this question:  http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

He asked if black haired people were discriminated against and went on to say that blondes are dumb, redheads are nerds, and he had something nasty to say about everyone. I replied that he should post a photograph of himself so that we could judge him back in such a shallow and inarticulate way !  He didn't like that.

    EXAMPLE

This was the email that asker sent that surprised me:

MESSAGE: Shut Up You***** your probaly some genric ***** with brown hair  and brown eyes s*** my *****  **** your just jellous **** nose

of my shiny black hair mother ******

I was surprised at the content and at the bad spelling too !

  5. i need a break from myself...

  6. Nothing really surprises me at all anymore.

  7. i anticipate everything.....

......so they don't really surprise me...

  8. Not that often!  It may be because I am a fairly good judge of people(...Ahem!).  Even so there are some who are capable of giving a pleasant surprise or a rude shock.  That is actually a very good thing,  for that way my ego is always kept in check!

I have been helped in the past by people whom I considered 'indifferent' but they went beyond the call of duty to be helpful without my knowledge...behind my back...not expecting even a thank you!

And talking about behind the back activities,  some considered 'friends' have been found saying uncomplimentary things out of envy/malice.

Mercifully,  the negative experiences have been very few and far-between.  The positive ones exceed maybe because I do not except much from anyone and hence a small act seems big to me....

  9. Everyday....driving 50mph in the fast lane.

It won't be a surprise soon, I will get used to it.

  10. Rarely, but ever in a shocking way.

Recently my private secretary quited after seven years of collaboration (and friendship as I wrongly believed), announcing his decision with a phone call, giving no logical explanation and sending back the documents he dealt with to the office with his .... mother (He's 45 years old).

  11. R u kidding me!! Ever time I'm with anyone (notice more when on drugs).  People are so strange and I am no exclusion.  People say things that make sense but are so off topic and sometimes can't find the right words and just start something new and it is very bizarre.  If I'm high, I can never follow anyone's conversation because they are always so strange and I can't start one myself b/c one is almost impossible to complete in a "perfect" way.

I say everyone is bizarre! Everyone is too strange to fit in, but we all fit in b/c of it.  Don't try to be excellent and to be normal.  You can't, and the only way you will excel is to push as far as you can in your own unique direction.

  12. When someone does something extraordinarily nice and reminds me not all people do things for their own selfish benifit. It can be the littlest thing sometimes and its so pleasant.

  13. I think it's surprising how rude people can be, especially when they're you're friends. I was at a party, and it was a special birthday for my friend Ann, but my other friend Torie just wanted all the attention on herself so she just kept separating from everyone...It made me angry and it was surprising that she'd do that to Ann.

  14. Daily.
