  1. I feed mine a small amount twice a day, occasionally cutting out the second meal.  You don't want to overfeed a fish.  Also keep in mind that fish need variety in their diet in order to maintain good health.  Commercial bits are fine some times, but other good foods to give a betta are bloodworms (mosquito larvae...you can get em freeze dried) and brine shrimp.  Feed your betta these every once in a while, and he'll be happy :) They do muck up the water though, so it's best, I find, to do such feedings before a water change, or just be careful to remove any excess food from the water.

  2. um i have had 4 beta fish in my lifetime. (all at different times) and with each one of them i always fed them like a good sized pinch of food, every 2 days. they were healthy.

  3. No more than once a day.. It's not how often, it's how much. Read the directions on the food :)

  4. everyday. 3 times a day. lmao floating food. xP

  5. You should prob feed your beta twice a day.  I had a beta for three years and I feed him twice a day and only about 2 of the little food pebbles at a time.

The website says......whatever they can scarf down in 30 seconds to one minute.

  6. I always feed my betta twice a day. I usually do a flake in the morning and a few bloodworms in the evening. He has been happy and content for the last 3+ years!!
