How often should I text a guy I like?

I really like this guy, and he lives halfway across the U.S. from me. I'm not sure how often to text him because I don't want to annoy him, but I don't want us to drift apart. How often is it reasonable to text him?

bullshit, if the guy likes u back he would have no problem texting u all day....text until u feel ur being ignored than forget it.

Once every day would be fine as long as it's nothing he would have to respond to, so no questions unless it's a time both of you can do so.

tEXT HIM AND WAIT IF HE TEXTS YOU BACK...IF HE DOES THEN THATS WHEN YOU RESPOND BACK...NEVER TEXT A GUY THAT ISNT YOUR BOYFRIEND BUT THAT YOU LIKE MORE THAN ONCE BECAUSE ITS GONNA MAKE IT SEEM LIKE YOUR OBSSESED WITH HIM
