How often should a family of 4-6 eat out?

If you have a regular income of $40,000 you could eat out once a month.  The more money you make the more ya can eat out.

Skip fast food and fancy and try family style, better price, great tastes, and it all dpeneds on income.  If money is no object i suggest 2 times on weekends and once durring the week.

How much can you afford? Eating out is cheaper than to hire a cook or maid. My family of 4 eat out Friday night,Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch.

My family has 4 people and we rarely actually go out to restuarants, but we order food from restaurants and pick it up to take home for 2-3 dinners a week.
