  1. you can wash in regular laundary once a month and it will last a couple of years, otherwise just chuck it when it gets dirty or moldy, which depends on how you use it and the environment in your bathroom

  2. I depends on you. To keep my curtain liner lasting longer and so it doesn't get funky, I always spray in with bathroom cleaner. After I have cleaned the shower and rinse it when I take my next shower.

  3. I'm assuming it's one of those vinyl liners? I don't believe there is any set length of time to replace them. I always changed mine because eventually the holes where the rings hold the curtain to the rod split and I hate that.

Also I noticed sometimes that mildew and soap scum accumulated along the bottom and that's just gross so I changed mine then also.

You should try a fabric liner. They are nice because the holes are reinforced with metal rings so they don't break, and it's washable. I take both the liner and the curtain down every so often and wash them together. Mine cost about $10, but I don't have to buy new ones all the time the way I did with the $2 vinyl type.

  4. It's really dependent on how much it is used.  They can be thrown in the washer for cleaning.  But after a while the bottoms will get hard and crack.  So it is really a personal preference and dependent on use and it's quality.  The last one I had lasted about a year.

  5. I give it 4-6 months, unless it starts to smell first.

  6. I don't know how often it should be changed, but I change mine about every 6 months.

  7. most can be washed in the washing machine to clean them up.of course don't put them in the dryer. I change mine when some of the hanging holes get ripped out.
