Question:

How often should i change my cactus's potting?

I want it to grow into a larger pot and be a huge cactus!

  1. cactus will not like the cow manuer as suggested..they do not like alot of extra nitrgen which comes from it..They prefer a sandy soil instead..this is why they grow so rampid in the desserts...All of mine are growing in just pure sand and have been in the cacti bed over 3 years..read under #5 here..the soil is more sand and gravel and asome ..POTTING SOIL..NOT MANUER..manuer is to rich for cactus and too much nitrogen..

  2. they like there root system to be "pot-bound" so only when the pot is full and can't grow anymore. when the roots of any plant stops growing, the top stops also.. you will only have to re-pot ever 2 years re pot with sterile soil, and cowmanure. good luck.
