How often should i feed my betta pellets?

i feed him 3 a day. is that too much or not enough?

thats about right but heres what i do and its working fine! ok i feed him 2 in the morning when i wake up 1 in the middle of the day and 2 at night before i go to bed then once a week i fast him to prevent over feeding, fasting means to not feed. dont worry it wont hurt him they can acually live without food for a few days, but dont do that! hoped i helped and alo once a month get him some live brine shrimp they love eating them!

My beta lived for 5 years, and I fed him a few pellets every 3 days. I began to notice if he wanted more, he'd pep up when I was around, he knew I'd bring him food.

Dont feel bad if you forget to feed him, I had a family emergency and left, forgetting all about him... didn't come home for a week and a half.

He was fine.

Thats good. I fed mine about 5-6 every 3 days. But its basilcy the same. and mine lived for a few years.
