  1. I change my fluid every 15,000 miles. I worked in atransmission shop and that was the recommendation. You can look in the owners manual also. It should tell you there.

  2. You are over due. I would get it done asap and then do it every 40-50k after that. Most trans flushes with chemicals are around 120 dollars and without chemicals figure around 90 dollars.

  3. The general recommendation that I'm familiar with is every 25000 miles.

  4. every 25,000 miles

  5. Two years is a good interval unless you only put a few thousand miles a year on your car. Some owners manuals  claim that you "never" have to have your transmission serviced under "normal" driving conditions and "X" thousand miles under "severe" driving conditions like towing and Taxi or mail delivery types of driving and so on.

Well, if you put at least 20,000 miles every two years on your car then I'd stick to the two year interval unless these miles are almost exclusively highway and you never tow a boat or trailer or load the car down to the axles.

Transmission service is cheap (around $60-120) and transmissions are expensive to rebuild or replace, like $2,000-3,000.

    Good Luck!

  6. every 50,000 miles.
