How often should i swim?

i work out with weights about two times a week, do ab workouts everyday, and run almost everyday. i heard that swimming burn a lot of calories and gives you a lean body. so i was thinking about maybe swimming laps about once a week to help get me ripped. i was wondering how many laps, and how often i should swim.

  1. better everyday but if not try 3 days a week at least.  start out with as many laps as you can and then the next time do that same number but add one like 1 or two. pretty soon you should start to lose weight.


  2. try to swim everyday if you have the time, for about 1 hour, in an hour, you should be able to do around 50 laps (there and back=1 lap)  

  3. Swimming does, look at MIchael Phelps he burns so much that he has to eat 10,000 calories a day.

  4. I swim whenever I can. You should try 2ice a week and do 5 laps for a small pool and 2 for a big pool
