How often should i trim my ivy?

  1. any time you want,it's all up to you,check and see how fast it is growing,and if it look like it is how much growth you want on the plant don't cut it..the more you cut it,the more it will grow out new shoots,and the plant will become bigger. it is all up to you how you want it too look..

That's hard to answer as we don't know how fast it is growing.  I like to see some new growth kept to replace any older that is naturally shed.  No leaf lasts forever, the old ones to drop at some point.  Plants in office situations mainly just survive, not thrive, unless extraordinary growing conditions exist.  Fertilize no more than every 4-6 weeks and at 50% the recommended dosage.  Keep an eye out for spider mites that cause the leaves to turn "dusty" or yellow and ie.  Wash the plant regularly to keep the critters at by.
