How often should you check the engine oil level in your car?

  Every fourth time you fill it up or put gas in it.Look for not only how full but how dirty and check the milage as to when it was changed last.

if it don't use oil then every tank or so should be ok

I check mine every time I gas up the car.  I also check the transmission oil, as well.

once a month unless you know it uses oil then you check more.. hey the more you check the motor or your car for bad things the more likley you wil find something before it breaks down on the road side... so knowing your cars needs smarter to check more offen than not so much
