How often should you clean your pillowcase?

I have some acne, and I'm concerned that a dirty pillowcase might be making the blemishes harder to take away. How often should I get my pillowcase cleaned? Every day? Every other day? Twice a week? Once a month? Please help, and thank you in advance.

  1. Once a week with your sheets.

  2. at least once a week but in the summer I usually wash sheets and pillowcases twice a week.

  3. I wash my bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, robe once a week.  I also wash my powder puff,  hairbrush, and cloth to clean my eyeglasses once a week.  I put small items in a laundry bag. It's just a habit that I grew up with.

  4. If you dont clean your pillowcase regulary, that could contribute to your acne because of the sweat and bacteria that builds up so when you clean your sheets you should wash your pilllowcase as well

i would recommend washing it every week

More in summer ((because you sweat more))

  5. I agree with the once a week at least but I have some more I would like to say about your acne.

If it seems to be getting worse you need to look at a few things for example:

~If you wear makeup are you making sure you take it completely off before you go to bed (I take mine off before I get a shower that way I get an extra clean face)

~Do you sweat a lot (this is a major problem for some people, because it clogs their pores up)

I also have a few tips and advice.

~Try not to touch your face a lot and if you down right have to try your best to make sure you sanitize your hands before you do. Same as when you are putting on your moisterizer, makeup, etc.

~Clean your face every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to bed

~Exfoliate at least 2-3 times a week (depending on how sensitive you skin is) (I exfoliate daily because my skin can handle it)

~Use a toner to close your pores and take out the rest of the dirt (I suggest Clean & Clear Toner)

~Use a moisterizer because after all the scrubing and cleaning your face is going to be stripped of its moisture and beneficial oils.

    ~Drink plenty of water

    Good Luck!!

  6. I think every week is good enough unless there is some extenuating circumstance (sweat, make-up,etc.)

  7. Whenever you wash your sheets, hopefully, once a week.
