How often should you have an eye exam?

i'm 21, and haven't had one since i was about 7.

You should see one anyways.  

Regular check ups are key to preventing anything serious that can happen - and that goes for regular doctor check ups too!  

Every state is different, but most of them are once a year.. others are once every every two years.  There's a good chance your eyes have changed since you were seven years old.  Most insurances cover a routine eye exam, so take advantage of it and go "see" an Optometrist :)

Uh, wow. Get one. I'd say every year or two if you need or have glasses/contacts; maybe every five years if your eyesight seems fine.

I have one every year since I already know that my eyes are bad and they change often.

You should get one every 2 years or so.

Atleast go get one soon. It's been too long.

It is recommended that you get your eyes tested every two years. If you have, or have had problems with your eyes, or your family are prone to things such as glaucoma, you should go once a year. Your best bet is to visit the optician,who will give you the best advice.
