  1. Get them neutered.  Our cat sprayed a couple of times before he was neutered and hasn't done it since.

Non neutered males will instinctively spray to mark their territory.

  2. GET THEM NEUTERED!  It is totally unresponsible not to spay/neuter your cat(s).  The only reason not to neuter a tom is if you are going to use him for breeding purposes.  Are they pedigree cats?  If not GET THEM NEUTERED.

In the meantime, ALL cats spray even neutered toms and spayed queens.  I've had both sexes and both sexes have sprayed.  It just doesn't smell terrible.  I really don't know if it's a territory thing in their case though.  in the meantime GET THEM NEUTERED!

  3. Two  un neuterd males!!!!! They will spray to cover each others scent.you MUST get them done. Are they allowed out? If so then your "boys" are resonsable for populating the neighbourhood with kittens.

Get them done and you will find they dont have any reason to spray,

If their kept in.then its stressing them both out and they dont know where their boundarys are.hence the constant spraying.Which as they mature so will the smell !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Un neutered cats are all likely to spray, especially males.  Their hormones make them territorial and driven to attract mates, therefor most of them will spray.  The life of an un neutered cat is usually akin to torture.  It's just easier and kinder to them to get them fixed.

  5. FIRST... you need to NEUTER / spay your cats.

It is a MALE cat thing to spray which is marking thier territory... so if you have them Neutered then this will stop in some cats.

(I have had some that stopped > but I had them neutered by 7 mo> in other cats it doesn't stop the spraying)

I have a 7 yr old male now that sprays when the neigborhood tom comes around (their rivals) and if I have kept him inside the house.

    good luck

and have him neutered... better for his helth.
