  1. I'm sure you could feed them every two hours and still be fine (if you kept up with water changes), but your best bet is to feed three times per day, in even intervals (they can handle an average person's night, ie 8 hours, without eating). Make sure the lights have been turned on for an hour before feeding, and leave the lights on for an hour after feeding at night.

Added: Microworms are ok, but other breeders use hard boiled egg yolk, vinegar eels, walterworms and bananaworms. Most that I know of use the egg yolk, but, if you want to use the nematodes, that's fine as well. Just be sure not to overfeed the worms. Vinegar eels will actually swim through the water, and take much longer to die in pure water than microworms do. They're also much smaller than the microworms (though banana/walter worms are both smaller than the microworms as well).

To obtain cultures, I sell them, but, since this isn't an advertisement, check out aquabid.com you should find them cheaper than on ebay.

  2. What are you feeding?

they will not eat flakes or anything that is not alive.

Live foods will live depending on what you use up to 3 days.

Microworms are the best thing to use, but dont ask me where to get a culture! I havent a clue!

Guess what, there's a listing on ebay! but if your fry are almost here.. you should have already ordered that culture.
