How often we can taken honey from honeybox and when?

Basically you harvest what you can without short changing the bees. Most beekeepers harvest honey in the fall, leaving about 10 deep frames of honey to get the bees through the winter. Right now while the bees are harvesting nectar, you'll want to check your honey boxes every two weeks or so to make sure your bees have enough space to store all the stuff they bring in. If you have a really good spring flow, you can sometimes harvest honey in the spring too.

We only take it once a year late summer when they are full.  Make sure you leave some for the bees to eat on for the winter months though.
