How often will search engines take to update themselves with new products from my online store and how often do they update?

If you are a PageRank 3 or better it will take up to 48 hours. If it takes longer than that it means Google thinks of you as a low quality; MSN will indes you in a few days too. Yahoo takes the longest, However if it's a blog it will show sooner (unless you have no backlinks)

It might take as long as two weeks or more, depending on the relevancy of the pages.  The Search Engines prefer sites that have two things:

1. A high ratio of keywords in the body to the keywords in the title tags

2. A high number of incoming links directly to your site from other sites.
