How often would you come across a snake in asia or North America?

sometimes NEVER if you are worried that you might encounter snakes in the USA you'd be surprised. how few you'll see. if you go hiking out in the wilds there is a possibility  you MIGHT see some, or some times there will be a stray one in your garden, ( depending where you live, in the south, or western states there tend to be more because of the heat and sometimes dryness. but for the most part in cities, Never. in Colorado in the mountain areas Rattlers, in the south copper heads, rattlers, water snakes ETC. but you should really look up the area you are intending to visit for information on wildlife.

Over the years I have found several. A king snake, a few garter snakes and too many Rattlers. I am a rockhound and we spend our time out in the country looking for gold, gemstones and crystals. I see a snake about every 3rd time I go out.
