21 i think. but you could call in and book it with a credit card and they won't card you later.

Depending on the location, you must be at least 18 to book a room. Even if you reserve your room with a credit card, most hotels will require you to present the credit card for "incidental charges" incurred to your room, such as telephone charges, room service, etc. And nearly ALL decent hotels require you to present a photo I upon arrival. My husband and I travel regularly, and we are regularly asked for photo ID when we check into a hotel. We're middle aged, not youngsters. The purpose of this is to 1) verify that you are the party that actually reserved the room, 2) to track you down if you destroy their hotel room.
