  1. Freshman usually enter the 9th grade when they are 14... & they turn 15 during the year.

Sophomore usually enter the 10th grade when they are 15.. & they turn 16 during the year.

I know I was more excited about being a sophomore.

    =]

  2. thats the same n america ur a sophmore

  3. freshmen=15

    sophomore=16

but to be totally honest, it varies!

  4. freshman-13-14-15

    sophomore-14-15-16

    juinor-15-16-17

    senior-16-17-18

it depends on when ur birthday is too. like mine is in november so i start high school at 13 where as others start at 14. u r either a sophmore or a juinor

probally senior. nobody really gets excited about freshman year more nervous.

  5. (for the USA) A Freshman (9th grade) would typically be age 14 or 15. A Sophomore (10th) grade would typically be age 15 or 16. (this would depend on where your birth date fell during the school year ~ I turned 14 right before my freshman year began, but attended the same grade with kids older) I think kids are pretty excited to be either one. A freshman being your first year of high school. So therefore your "not a kid" anymore ... it's like you've joined the "upper class". Then on the other hand a Sophomore has already past that first year in high school and is now "higher in the ranks" than the new Freshmen.

In the US you would be either in the 10th (Sophomore) or 11th (Junior) grade. A Senior (12th grade) is the highest grade before entering a college or university.

Hope this helps and answered your question.

    God Bless!

  6. I was 13 as freshman. and to me it was junior or 11th grade more exciting

  7. Elementary (Primary I think you use) school

    Preschool- 4-5

    Kindergarten- 5-6

    1st grade- 6-7

    2nd grade- 7-8

    3rd grade- 8-9

    4th grade- 9-10

    Middle/Junior high school

    5th grade- 10-11

    6th grade- 11-12

    7th grade- 12-13

    8th grade- 13-14

    High School

    9th grade- 14-15 (Freshman)

    10th grade- 15-16 (Sophomore)

    11th grade- 16-17 (Junior)

    12th grade- 17-18 (Senior)

    COLLEGE!

I'd say your a sophomore. Most people get excited about being sophomores, because people actually like your class then :P.

  8. Freshman---14/15-----------9th grade

    Sophmore---15/16----------10th grade

    Junior---------16/17-11th----grade

    Senior---------17/18-12th----grade

  9. Ages will vary slightly because of when someones birthday falls during the year and how early their parents enrolled them in kindergarten.

    In general:

(It is possible that a student will be anyone one of the ages listed in that particular grade)

    Freshman-Grade 9- Age 14/15

    Sophomore-Grade 10-Age 15/16

    Junior- Grade 11-Age 16/17

    Senior-Grade 12-Age 17/18

I would say that you would be a Junior

People are typically the most excited about being a Senior as this is the final year of high school and people are excited about going on to college. Also you typically get more privileges in school and more respect.

    best of luck

  10. 7th form/Year 13- Senior.

    6th form/Year 12- Junior.

    5th form/Year 11- Sophmore.

    4th form/Year 10- Freshman.

    ...

  11. your a senior in the usa. a freshman is 9th and a sophomore is 10th a junior is 11th and a senior is 12th. the most exciteing is senior because thats your last year of school and then you get to go to collage.

  12. A freshman is like year 7 in the UK so age 12/13.

And  Sophomore is like year 10 so like 15/16.

After school at 16 people in the Uk get a job or go to college until theyre 18 and they can then choose to go to university for 3/4/5 years depeding on the course or go into the workplace.

  13. Sophormore because they are getting closer 2 b seniors

    14 as a freshman and 15 as a sophormore

  14. lol at age 16 you are suppose to be a junior

but like you can be 15 as a sophomore then turn 16 in that same year but really you are suppose to be a junior

  15. sophomore or junior

  16. Year 12 (grade 12) for the U.S is Seniors (ages 17-18), our last year of high school, 9th grade is freshman (ages 14-15)

I was most excited to be in 12th Grade, because i was finally graduating : )

  17. i'm from New Zealand too and moved to the united states when i was seven, so i understand. okay your 16 which means you would be a sophomore and even possibly going to me a junior next year, your welcome.

  18. it goes..

    preschool

kindergarden- first year of elementary school.

    grade 1

    grade 2

    grade 3

    grade 4

    grade 5

grade 6- first year of middle scool/junior high

    grade 7

    grade 8

grade 9- first year of high school- freshman

    grade 10-sophmore.

    grade 11-junior

    grade 12- senior

    then you go to college.

  19. You'd be a Junior, or even a senior (year 12), people like Junior better, because u get better classes, and it means you've almost graduated!

  20. I was 14-15 my Freshman year (9th grade)

    15-16 my Sophomore year

    16-17 my Junior year

    17-18 my senior year

I live in the US (Texas) and my birthday is in November.

I was excited Sophomore year because I got my driver's license. And, of course, Senior year because of graduation.

  21. at 16 here, you'd probably be a sophmore.
