How old can you be to stay at a youth hostel in paris?

Any age as long as you are accompanied by an adult.  I've seen families in hostels.  But by your self?  I'm not sure.  I would call the hostel in advance and ask.  I would think at least 16.

I think you mean to ask if there is a maximum rather than minimum age. Most hostels have no maximum age and do not, these days, refer to themselves as "youth" hostels.

My 62 year old cousin stays in hostels all the time.  There's not usually a maximum age.
