How old do I have to be to go into the Olympics?

Right now i'm 11, and i've played softball since I was two. I hit a grand slam at age 7, and got invited to select at age 10. I didn't go, but I want to know how much training is needed, how old I have to be to get into the Olympics.

and you aleast have to be 18

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but softball unfortunately has been discontinued as an olympic sport.  I think Beijing is the last Olympic that will feature the sport.  It might return in the future, but it looks rather grim at the moment.  I'm sorry

I'm pretty sure it's 15 or 16.

But that's a lot of work, and your coach would have to talk to you about it.
