How old do I have to be to have a green dot credit card? I'm 14 years old

So if i give the money to my mom and dad and they buy it for me and i give them the money to put on it can I use it??

(If I can’t get one answer this) If I’m a 14 year old and my mom and dad think it’s a good idle then how do I get one? My friend is a 13 year old and he has regular credit cards. So way can’t I?

There is no age requirement.

Read the fine print.  A green dot card is actually rather expensive, with the monthly fees and charges.

The real market for the card, is people who cannot even get a checking account, because of bad credit and bounced checks.

You are better off getting an account at a bank with a visa debit card.  Many banks offer this free for students.
