  1. 6 months old according to our pediatrician.  Until then the only thing they should have is formula or breast milk.

Once she's 6 months old then you can give 4 oz of juice (diluted by half water) per day.

The AAP recommends using fruit juice sparingly for infants.  It is prudent to give juice only to infants who can drink from a cup (approximately 6 months or older). Teeth begin to erupt at approximately 6 months of age. Dental problems have also been associated with juice consumption.  Prolonged exposure of the teeth to the sugars in juice is a major contributing factor to dental cavities.

The AAP and the American Academy of Pedodontics recommendations state that juice should be offered to infants in a cup, not a bottle, and that infants not be put to bed with a bottle in their mouth. Drinking too much fruit juice can lead to dental problems, malnourishment and even obesity.

Congratulations on your new sweetie! :)

  2. 6 months old is what nutritionist and pediatricians recommend.  Until then the only thing they should have is formula or breastmilk.  At 6 months you can start giving diluted juice and no more than 4 oz per day.

  3. 4 months unless otherwise adviced by a doctor for constipation.

  4. i gave my son juice when he was 2 weeks but only like an ounce juice per 4 oz water

  5. 3-4 mos 1/2 water 1/2 juice

  6. i didn't give my daughter juice till she was almost one year. ask her dr. before give her anything.

  7. Your daughter can technically drink juice, although i don't think you really want to give her so much sugar so early on.

    Congratulations
