  1. They can be fixed as early as 8 weeks. Get him neutered now. Do not wait

  2. I've heard different ages. However this site says from 6 weeks to 6 months.

  3. I had my 2 male cats fixed at 6 months of age. We dropped them off in the morning, and they were ab;e to pick them up after 1:00 p.m.

Call your vet as soon as possible to set up an appointment.

Spayed or neutered animals make very good pets.

  4. He's old enough. I've seen kittens neutered at 3-4 months. It all depends on the vet.

  5. Now is the ideal time to get your cat fixed it is recommended that cats of both sexes get fixed at around 6 months of age.

  6. 6-8 months

  7. 6 months

  8. I would say  7 months old

  9. You must wait untill he is 12 months old. Because he is not done growing untill then. He will still be growing and if you do that it will mess him up.

  10. I'm in England, we do it from 5 months. In America, they often do them from 8 weeks.

Either way, it's time for your kitten! You should definitely NOT wait - he'll be sexually mature soon which means his urine will start to stink and he'll be wanting to get outside to find a mate.

EDIT: Neutering does NOT mess up growth. If Finalfantasy actual did research instead of just going by what he'd heard on the grapevine he'd know that the current thinking is that growth plates actually close LATER in neutered animals once the testosterone is gone, so in fact they have the potential to grow a few extra millimeters when neutered!
