I like zippos, and i've bought fake ones from the local shop that will even sell tobacco to kids.

I want to travel to timpsons so i can buy a real zippo because they're way more reliable. But it's far away, in another city. Maybe if i tell the clerk, without fuel and flints, a zippo is a piece of metal with some cotton in it, and ask him to remove the flint, maybe he will sell it to me?

Also thinking of saying it's a gift for my dad

Appreciate any answers!

  1. you need to be 18. weird that until a few months ago you could buy a pack of f**s at 16 but had no way to legally light them.

  2. 18 by law or 21 under certain shop licence's regulations.

  3. Buy one off ebay or online. They won't sell it to you. Given that they can't even sell you Rizla til you are 18, and that is just paper, they won't sell you a zippo. And without a flint, it is useless anyway cos they won't sell you a flint reel and fluid. So yeah, I would say the internet.

'Ave that Gordon Brown! I am teaching kids how to buy lighters.
