How old do i have to be to get my g.e.d.?

Why exactly do u want to get your GED? (just curious) I got mine B/C school was boring and I was in a abuse/custody issue and in Louisiana  u are considered an adult when u are out of high school.(I had a year of school left) I was 17, I was taking Honors classes , won all kinds of awards all through school, all my teacher thought that I was nuts. I made a 26 on my Act and I am currently a pre-med /psychology major. Whatever you do just finish some type of post-secondary education.

You have to be 18. But you can be 16 or 17 with a age waiver with a local school board.

I'm not sure about Florida, but I think in Oklahoma you have to be 16 or so..

i have a friend who just got his and he is 16, he also has an IQ of 130+
