I don't know the answer to this question and I am assuming you are young to asking this question!

Animals are cute, but guess what they don't belong in cages 24/7 with not enough exercises and kept in these cages for months at at time!

This is so cruel! I wish they would ban these so called pet shops from being able to sell these animals! Many times these animals are sick or have adverse reactions from being cooped up for so long!  

I realize that you probably just want to be around animals and you might even be an animal person and if so you can understand this is actually cruelty to animals! Everyone needs to understand and realize this! Just some information for you to ponder dear!  Cheers!

I've never heard of Petland, but most pet stores don't hire until eighteen. At my local pet store (Petsmart) they don't let ANYONE handle the animals unless they're an adult. I think it helps with legal issues, in case something happens to the animals.
