How old do i need to be to work at a gas station? What if they sell alcohol?

im 16 and need a job. Gas station sounds good. Free soft drinks and all the magazines in the world. But usually need to be 18 to sell alcohol, which most gas stations do. Can I work there if im 16?

I think the minimal age is 18. So no you can't work at a gas station if you're 16.

Varies by state. I know in Nebraska you have to be 19 years old to serve/sell alcohol.

If you are under age and a customer wants liquor, a co-worker will have to scan and bag it for you. Otherwise, you may be otherwise qualified. Go for it and go easy one the softdrinks.
