How old do kitten have to be before there eyes open?

my cat had kitten last sunday and tomorrow they will be a week old

Anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 weeks.  Kittens are born blind and deaf.  They also may not all open their eyes at the same time.  Congrats on becoming a furbaby grandparent! : )

The little kittens should have their eyes opened soon, normally between a week to a week and a half. Some opened their eyes sooner and some later, it all depends on the kitten individually. Some might have one eye opened first and the other later on. Those are all normal. Be sure to check that their eyes are clear and does not have any crust surrounding it.
