  1. I think it should be safe to cut their claws at that age, provided you make sure to cut only the white part of the claw, making sure you don't get the blood vessels!

If you do accidentally catch the vessels, it will only cause minor discomfort to the cat, but if it doesn't stop bleeding after a couple of minutes take it straight to the vet!

  2. I think you will be fine if you do it now.  Just be careful you don't want to cut them too short.

    Good Luck!

  3. try a scratching post, it might help, but my cat dose not like it. try this website, its for dogs and cats.

  4. it's just something u have to get used to. it never bothered me cuz i love my kittens so much.

but idk bout the age tbh, i never considered doing this to my cats.

they go outside because my family is allergic, so we keep their claws, trim sometimes, tho.

if it's staying indoors, go for it probably at this age.

    just call ur local vet

  5. Do you have a scratch post ? kittens should be keeping there own claws down mine scratch on the posts all day and it does not hurt us when she is playing , but if you must cut there nails go to the vets first so they can show you how to do this , if you don't you could cut a vain in the kittens nails .

  6. you can do it now . Buy the actual cat clippers though .
